I just added a new Forum called Indie News. The threads in this forum will be generated by an automated RSS aggregation tool, but I thought it might help spark some conversation. In addition to this I updated the Recent Activity tab above so that it no longer includes posts from the Indie Classified forums and will not include posts from the new Indie News forums as I've received feedback that the forums seem overrun with announcements and help wanted ads. To compensate for that change, I also added two new tabs, Recent Classifieds and Recent News which will show recent posts for their respective areas.

I'm always open to feedback, so let me know if you agree/disagree with the new changes and if you have any other requests that you would like to see.

That was starting to get annoying, thanks for fixing it.

As a suggestion perhaps you could add the rss feeds to a sidebar widget on the homepage?
    Like this suggestion http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/foru...oting/342740-vbulletin-forum-homepage-sidebar

That will put the links in front of people when they arrive at the forum and may spark conversation like you wanted
Being stuck in a separate forum may be a bit out of the way?

I haven't been visiting much for ages and never really posted much anyway so my opinion may not count for that much. I will give it anyway. I quite like the adding of the news streams and perhaps it will help to revitalize the forum. It doesn't appear as busy as it used to be.

I'm almost never on the home page - just instantly hit the "recent" button. But it looks good :)

I thought of that too, but apparently there isn't a built in way to display this sidebar on all pages... only the home page.

Thumbs up from me too. I'm glad it isn't on the sub-pages where you want more room to read text.
