Do you think it would be better to remove pinned featured thread bar? It takes a bit to much of space in my opinion. I think it would be good to remove it or put on side bar if possible.
I like the featured thread box! The only thing I'd suggest is that it seems a bit random (is it?) I'd like it if it didn't change with every page load, but was based on some sort of metric like the most views/replies in the past week or something.
Ok, so I would appreciate if there would be an option to turn it off because on my screen it looks like this:
@NO9 - I don't see an option to turn it off completely. You can click the little drop down menu on the right and Dismiss the featured thread and once you Dismiss them all, I think it will go away, but obviously this isn't what you are asking for. @higgipoker - They are featured based on number of replies, likes, etc, but once they are featured, it is random as to which one shows up on a given page. If I make it any other way, then only a single thread will be featured at a time. The current way gives more visibility to the other featured threads.
Wow, that's certainly one way to do it! Didn't know this type of tool existed... I may have some uses for this at work
